I have had registered with Elance and sounds am about to get my first job soon. There are so many other jobs i can do so easily which will earn me enough.

Hello Salma,
Thanks for an awesome article. It actually took me 5 bids to get my “first project”. It was only a 3 hrs job though and even though my client liked my work, she didn’t hire me as her long term writer. So yeah, I feel like getting my second project is hard as the first.
I’ve read through these articles and can’t thank you enough. Hopefully, my other project is round the corner

Hello Salma!
By the blessings of God I have completed two projects on elance after struggling for one year. I tried to draw some money to my Payoneer Master Card and some money to my Local Bank account. But I didn’t receive any money nor to Master Card neither in my Bank account. When I contacted payoneer they say that funds have been loaded to my MasterCard. Finally even I can’t use Master Card in Local ATMs. Any advice you can give me?

This whole series is simply amazing. I just recently signed up for Elance and, for the passed few days, have been working diligently on my profile/portfolio.

I just found your site yesterday, and this series in particular has helped me tremendously with putting together proposals and getting my portfolio underway. I didn’t even realize that writing samples could be protected against plagiarism!

I guess! there is no sense of bringing kids into meeting. In my opinion it much depends upon the nature and environment of meeting in complex sessions you can never think of bringing kids together however attending a casual meetings in weekends or after business time can afford you to handle kids together.

true but who says text is the only form of content! For a more universal appeal (and esp when there’s a language barrier), video and even images work better as content.

I again admit your point of creating actionable content for targeted audience as you may know most of b2b companies are from China where English is only a trade language while working for them makes things uneven for b2b marketers to recreate an unusual magic through content because almost every single company outsource their projects for writing for their companies projects.

@Jahanzaib: B2B marketing requires the same kind of content as any business – the content just needs to be in line with the problems and issues faced by your clients.

An example of a B2B company might be one selling spa equipment. This company can produce informational guides, whitepapers and even blog posts to illustrate what their equipment does. As long as they can address the pain points of their clients (cost, security, warranty, technologically superior, etc) they will be creating actionable content. They can even create content based on humor – showcasing funny spa stories. Yes google the term, it exists So in this manner they can fulfill all the three Es.
